Elizabeth Williams

Associate Professor Elizabeth Williams has focused on understanding the molecular and cellular basis of prostate cancer metastasis since completing her PhD. She is the Tumour Models Group Leader at the Australian Prostate Cancer Research Centre-Queensland and Director of Research (School of Biomedical Sciences) at Queensland University of Technology. She is also a Founding Fellow of the Faculty of Science of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. Her current research program focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underpinning the progression of prostate cancer to the castrate resistant state and the development of metastasis, and is funded by the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Movember.
